The KM-1340 from Hoshizaki is a crescent ice maker that produces up to 1325 lbs of ice a day under standard conditions – that’s 48 lbs of ice an hour! Since this model has a slimline design, you can install two units side-by-side, to effectively double your daily ice production rate. With Hoshizaki’s patented evaporator plate design, each crescent cube is formed individually, so ice never sticks together making it hard to dispense into a glass. Crescent cubes are hard, clear, and slow-melting, making them a great choice for soft drinks or top-shelf spirits. Since each cube has a rounded top, liquid cascades over cubes rather than splashing against them during a pour. This means more of your product in the glass and less on the bartop. Crescent ice also displaces liquid better than traditional cubes, which gives drinks a fuller appearance.
