The KM-1900 crescent ice maker from Hoshizaki is one of their largest ice machine capable of delivering up to 1650 lbs of ice a day. In addition, the KM-1900 is a stackable unit which can allow for two units on top of one ice storage bin, effectively doubling your ice production rate to over 3000lbs of ice a day! That’s almost two tons of ice in a 2 x 4-foot area. This model produces Hoshizaki’s signature crescent ice, which is designed to limit costs in lost product and overpours. The shape of the cube allows liquid to cascade over them, as opposed to square cubes which can cause liquid to splash out of the glass on a pour. Since the cubes are smaller than square cubes, they displace liquid more effectively, making for a taller looking drink. Finally, each KM crescent ice maker has a unique evaporator plate design that forms each ice cube individually. You’ll never have to worry about ice clumping in the bin when serving.
